Shipping and Returns

ORDER PROCESSING:

I always aim to process orders within 3 days of purchase. As I have a 9-5 regular job that has me travelling to different parts of the NT regularly, I am often away from home for 3-4 days at a time- this does occasionally affect order process times. I strive to pack and ship every order as fast as possible- if you need an expediate order please contact me prior to purchasing, as I am able to discuss my current processing times with you to avoid disappointment.

SHIPPING OPTIONS:

You have three shipping options for Australian residents:

- untracked regular post

- tracked regular post

-tracked express post

International orders can choose either tracked regular or tracked express post.

If you choose tracked postage you will be sent your tracking number in your shipping confirmation email.

Your shipping options will show up in checkout once you place your address into the fields. Please note that postage from Darwin is notoriously slow - we are yet to have next day express postage (we struggle to even get 3 days express postage) so regular post orders generally take minimum two weeks and express post is normally one week, sometimes even 1.5 weeks. The cost of postage is dependant on Australia Post prices, and also covers the cost of the packaging needed to post your GD's safely - no profit is made on postage and I try to keep it as low as possible for my customers. That is why there is an untracked regular post option available- the cheapest shipping option I could source!

DAMAGED/LOST ORDERS:

Gertrude Designs is not responsible for orders lost whilst in transit - if you believe your parcel is lost it is best to lodge an enquiry with Australia Post. Gertrude Designs does not take responsibility for items damaged in transit and therefore aren't obliged to offer refunds for such cases- but we do examine each case individually to determine the appropriate resolution. Every attempt is made to package your earrings safely to minimize damage during shipment.  Should your shipment arrive damaged, a complaint/enquiry form lodged with Australia Post is the best course of action for this.

FAULTY OR DAMAGED EARRINGS:

If you believe your earrings are faulty upon opening your order, but the packaging appears undamaged, please email hello@gertrudedesigns.com with photographs of both the packaging and the earrings, no later than 48 hours after delivery. I may ask for more photos or information to assess whether the damage occurred during transit or it was due to an issue on my end, and dependant on the findings we will work together to find an outcome that suits both parties.

REFUNDS/RETURNS:

Gertrude Designs does not offer refunds, exchanges or returns for change of mind, due to health and safety regulations. All sales are final.

CANCELING YOUR ORDER:

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us at hello@gertrudedesigns.com no later than 24 hours after checking out. Please note, if your order has already been shipped you will not be able to cancel your order.
